Discovery Bay Bus Tour/Beach Clean-up

‘Beach Patrol on Tour’

Sponsored by the Victorian Fisheries Authority and supported by Stoked Surf Therapy!

We are taking a bus trip to Discovery Bay for a beach clean-up. There are 25 places available on the bus and bookings are essential.
Discovery Bay is a stunningly scenic section of our coast. Expect to see extensive beaches, sand dune fields, and wetlands.
Unfortunately this remote and beautiful place is also a place where marine litter washes up.
We will be cleaning up Blacks Beach/Bridgewater Lakes (the most easterly corner of Discovery Bay).
We will be supported on the day by Victorian Fisheries Authority Officers.
We will provide Morning Tea & Lunch. (Please let us know your dietary requirements when you sign up.)
Please note, these remote beaches do not have toilet facilities but we will make a couple of stops at picnic areas.
We will be cleaning up an area of around 800m.

What to bring:
Please wear sturdy shoes.
Bring a refillable water bottle.
Dress for the weather.
